Terms of Service

Effective 2026-04-26

1. What Guild Does

Guild provides a hosted referral and rewards platform that marketplace operators embed in their products. When you create a Guild account, you join a rewards program associated with one or more marketplaces. Your account stores token balances earned when you or people you refer transact on participating marketplaces.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter contracts in your jurisdiction. One account per person. You are responsible for keeping your contact information accurate.

3. How Tokens Are Earned

Tokens are awarded according to the marketplace program rules at the time of a qualifying transaction. Typical structure: 5 tokens to the direct referrer, 1 token to each earlier referrer up to a program-defined depth. Token rates and multipliers may change with 14 days' notice. Zero-value or reversed transactions earn no tokens.

4. Settlement and Redemption

Token balances settle daily. Cash-out options are made available by Guild at its discretion. Guild makes no guarantee that a redemption channel will be available at any time. Token balances have no guaranteed monetary value and are not transferable, assignable, or redeemable for cash except through an active Guild redemption channel.

5. Account Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Guild may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the referral system (including self-referrals, coordinated gaming, or fraudulent transactions), or are associated with illegal activity. Earned but unsettled tokens may be forfeited upon termination for cause.

6. Immutable Audit Record

All trust-sensitive events (earnings, settlements, reversals) are written to a tamper-evident, append-only log. This record cannot be deleted. Requests to delete your account will remove your contact information from queryable tables but cannot remove entries from the audit chain.

7. Limitation of Liability

Guild is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Guild and its operators are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from use of the service. Guild's aggregate liability is limited to the token value settled to your account in the 12 months preceding any claim.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes

Material changes will be announced in-app and by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

10. Network Terms

Guild participates in the Connection Finder Network. Network-level participation terms are available at connectionfinder.net/terms. In the event of a conflict between these terms and the network terms, these terms govern for Guild-specific services.
